SHOW NOTES
What you do if you heard that a child went the first half a school year without lunch? Susan Elwer found herself in this exact position in 2016 and knew she HAD to do something about it. Having been raised in a single parent household that relied on welfare, Susan couldn’t standby not being part of the solution to end childhood hunger.
So in 2017, Susan launched Spoonful Apparel (formerly Hands & Feet) which creates apparel with inspiring messages and donates 50% of its profits to organizations who are working to end childhood hunger in the United States.
In this episode we talk about Susan’s first few years in business, their long-term vision, and unique localization strategy for giving back!
